A Grand Finale

This Pittsburgh Gospel Choir concert is dedicated to the Tuskegee Airmen (with some in attendance) and will feature special guest artistJoe Negri on guitar. Gospel songs will include: Psalm 8, Order My Steps, and I Opened My Mouth to the Lord.

Impressionism in a New Light: From Monet to Steiglitz
This exhibition of more than 150 works features many of the most important artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, exploring the radical nature of the Impressionist movement and the visual dialog between these artists and Pictorialist photographers of the era. The show includes works by Cassatt, Cezanne, Degas, Gaugin, Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Seurat, Demachy, Stieglitz, Steichen, White, and others.

Mother's Day Concert in Somerset
Music Director Istvan Jaray conducts the 12th annual JSO Mother's Day Concert in Somerset, featuring light classical favorites and "the boy with the golden voice," 11-year-old singer Shane Treloar.  Every mother receives a flower, courtesy of Somerset Trust Company.

Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art
Persad Center's 'Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art' auction and reception brings together the work of more than 200 local, regional, and international artists who donate original art and sculpture.  The event includes delicacies from top restaurants, the best entertainment in the city, and a diverse audience.

SOLD OUT! Music for the Spirit
SOLD OUT! Manfred Honeck conducts an ensemble of PSO principals and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh in sacred choruses by Handel, Bernstein, Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams and Haydn, as well as instrumental works by Ravel, Bloch and Mozart interspersed with Old Testament readings. Featured soloists include Anne Martindale Williams, Noah Bendix-Balgley, Michael Rusinek, Andrey Nemzer and Gregg Baker.
